Welch Allyn “Show of Hands”

July 23, 2010 – As part of the Welch Allyn “Show of Hands” campaign, Mary Bard does gardening work at the Finger Lakes Center for Living courtyard, adjacent to Auburn Memorial Hospital, on July 23, despite the rain. She was part of a group of Welch Allyn employee volunteers who did weeding, spread mulch, and installed two bird feeders in the courtyard, as well as beautifying the entrance to the AMH Emergency Department. More than 600 volunteers carried out projects at more than 20 non-profit organizations in Onondaga and Cayuga counties. This volunteer initiative is part of the Beacon of Quality event, a day when the Welch Allyn Skaneateles Falls facilities close to honor employees and the communities they live in.
